The AD at BYU, Tome Homho (sp?) holds an annual home discussion with Salt Lake Media that is an open conversation, not a news conference, but more of a open forum. This year he did so last week and the hot topic was would BYU stay an independent? He stated they like where they are but if a offer comes from a "good sized league like the Big 12" they would need to highly consider it. He also stated BYU has requirements that most schools do not so any conference would need to comply with their needs and in return BYU would offer 5 million Mormons has potential viewers. Sunday play is the biggest issues--BYU will not play on Sundays in any sport-big or small. Also he stated they want to continue to develop BYU TV so any TV revenue package would have to consider that as well.

Do not settle for 5 mil potential Mormons. Mandate all the Mormons worldwide must watch all the Big 12 games!

Not sure if accurate, but have heard that Mormonism is the fastest growing religion world wide. If true, we should take a look at the long play here.
