These are the facts as we know them. 

1) This has everything to do with unrealized football revenue and nothing to do with basketball.
2) OU and aTm both make the most money when they are linked up with Texas.  Therefore, they will go where Texas goes.
3) If KU or K-State have any chance with the SEC, it will be AFTER the dust settles.
4) The only reason the SEC would be interested in KU/K-State/Mizzou is because the SEC feels like expanding to 16 is a necessity- AND- they have been shot down by numerous ACC/Big East schools- AND- the last option available is to take these former BCS conference schools off the scrap heap and make use of them.

The SEC doesn't care about your basketball.  That is irrelevant.
