Are you counting "ESPN Gameplan" as an ESPN Network?
If UNC parlayed their Football into an $11.1 million dollar a yearTier III contract, than Dick Baddour is a genius who should have a statue made of him in gold now that he's retired.
I was wrong in my statement, however I don't think it changes if UNC or Duke have Tier 3 inventory or not. UNC had 2 games on espn3 only, but the UNC website does not list any other TV coverage. This may be where part of UNC's $11MM is coming from and their website just doesn't list local, tier 3. Also both teams had a few games on the ACC Network/EPSN3, but that's still not tier 3. Every Duke game I mentioned besides the one on Raycom was on CBS, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, or the ACC Network.
I should also note I didn't include exhibition games. I forgot that BB had exhibition and FB does not. However, I don't think you can say FSU feels like they are getting screwed by the ACC here since this is true nation wide and no one's TV contract includes exhibition BB.
Also, I'm not saying FSU shouldn't be upset about the ACC contract. All I'm saying is I don't think they are looking at Duke and saying "look, Duke is getting all kinds of $ from their Tier 3 BB while we aren't getting the same treatment for FB." I don't think the money Duke could bring in from 1 BB game is close to the money FSU could bring in for 1 FB game.
