It makes me very suspicious of this The Flush character I'll tell you that.  And Claws, what of Dean? :ohno:

They better be as good as MN thinks they are, or oscar is out of a job. College of Charleston probably won't even come calling this time.

Maybe it wasn't a coincidence that there weren't any three-point attempts in Barry's highlight vids.  Unusual for a shooting guard.  Typically thunderous dunkshots and a barrage of made threes raining down.  Does this kid ever misss!?  Evidently not! :excited:

Apparently no one told Barry that you miss 100% of the threes you don't take. :frown:

He'll certainly get plenty of platitudes and cliches shouted at him from the sideline once oscar gets him on the squad.

I just want Gip on the left block, Tre in the left corner, Foster at his favorite spot on the left wing, Nino floating around the top of the key and Wes ready to cut to the basket from the right wing if his guy doubles Gip.  It all seems pretty simple

Mixed Nuts said Jevon is the best recruit we have landed since Beasley and meant it.  I don't even.

Kellis! http://www.kansas.com/sports/college/big-12/kansas-state/k-stated/article10746332.html

Quote from: Kellis
But jacking up threes against TCU sent him back to the bench. Weber wants Foster to be a complete player, like he was a year ago when he went for dunks and mid-range shots, instead of the three-point specialist he is trying to be.

Read more here: http://www.kansas.com/sports/college/big-12/kansas-state/k-stated/article10746332.html#storylink=cpy

We have no one else on the team that can shoot 3s consistently other than maybe Tre, Foster is shooting 38% beyond the arc, and Weber is upset that Foster is shooting too many 3s.

Can't wait for Weber's "Fool's Gold" speech later in the year.

It was a good article/ blog post for the most part. I cringed at that part, because it simply isn't true. Fosters FTR is evidence of that.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Also, why did we pay so much heed to Jay Heidrick's comments on the radio. I mean it's Jay rough ridin' Heidrick, why does anything he says matter? This thread did get me to listen to the podcast of the segment. It was nauseating.

What started as a thread about Fitz's lawyer, has turned into quite the enthusiastic basketball x and o discussion.

I think somebody subpoena'd all the HBBIQ talk from SMF pretty quick.

It's obvious the tuck brigade is desperate.  You have some scrub from Beloit, KS that couldn't hold B-Ro's jock defending this asshat...

the only reason I liked curtis' article was because it packaged dislike for oscar into a nice tuck package.

coaching? no (I mean, he's white, old, and was mentored by Gene Keady, and won a lot of games but don't worry about why)
recruits? no (I mean, we want guys that want to be here, just like Bill!)
stats? no (hey, you can spin stats any way you want, they're stupid)

you don't have to coach, recruit, or think about why you didn't succeed and aren't.  just say it's "your fault" and we're good.  we'll give you 6 years and a neckbrace if you do that.

Nino was also top 150.  Frank essentially recruited all top 150 guys and got good transfers.
