What is the true "importance" of a nice stadium?

I mean, if you're a wealthy benefactor who cares about KU, and you have the choice of giving $50 million to the football program, the medical school, or Engineering, why football?

I want a great stadium, but I'm not a med or engineering student at KU. I'm an alumnus of the business school and have chosen to support it rather than the AD. Am I wrong?"

When will K-State's cruise ship start getting the football program some tangible results? You guys are still recruiting the same types of players, and you still can't sniff a national championship. When should we expect that to change?

Define sniff. I sniffed it for a second in 2012 and had a plane ticket and hotel lined up for Miami. So no, we've never played in a 'ship, but I was sniffing about as good as you can sniff before the Baylor game.

well, the front end of the cruise ship (sten? port? starboard? the other one?) is still in dry dock getting built and junk. hard to cruise without a front bud.
