I had like third cousins that drove a covered wagon in the Peace Treaty back in the day. I think I went once or twice and didn't quite get it. I'd IRL like to watch it again now that I know a little about history

My grandparents took me a couple times. It sucked crap for sure but that’s not my jam obviously.

I remember a giant dirt hill everyone sat on to watch. Other than the performers that’s all I remember.

Yep. It seemed like a shitload of covered wagons because we always had to guess which wagon the cousins were on

I went once, my great grandparents lived in Medicine Lodge.  When I'm old I'll probably inherit some land for a cat ranch in Barber County.
:adios:

Also, you can find like a billion arrowheads on our ranch. There is a pond that never has water in it mostly and it’s filled with them. My grandfather told me it was because the native Americans would shoot arrows at ducks on it. He was possibly full of crap and they just ended up there because water flowed to the pond from around it but I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt because his arrowhead collection was massive and WTF do I know about it?

Many moons ago the peace treaty was a great place to go get drunk and laid.  But you could not be very picky on either account.

Old timey “tack” room. We haven’t owned a horse for like a decade. There was a brown recluse the size of my hand by the door and I freaked out.

I think the lifespan of a Polaris ranger is like 4 months at our ranch. Here is a pic of a current one driven by a 7 and 3 year old. Note the gravel benji.

See that giant rough ridin' building? Built in 1944. Way gianter than it looks in the pic. Dad is getting a gigantic garage door added to it because he’s tired of opening the giant doors on it. Interior cage is like ship lumber. Pretty rad. Will get pics tomorrow.
