My dad has two storage units and a 4 bedroom house full of crap. Told my siblings they better get what they want when they die. I'm calling a disposal company. These old timers and their packrat habits are horrible.

According to my mom he found a tick in the house and blamed it on them

May have been them, or gotten in on his clothing or came in on his cats that he let roam around.

I love the pictures of the trailer in the generic JOCO neighborhood.
Did all of the John Deere tractor guys flip off all of the other color tractor guys and call them losers the whole time?

The competition within tractor makes is probably more intense to be honest.

I had a guy asking me what my 4020 serial number was to compare to his like I should know that like my ssn.  He literally got down under the back end of my tractor to read the number and confirm my tractor was built after his.

Another guy pointed out I had an after market rock shaft cover, not original.  He could tell because the seam between the pieces didn't match up.  Tried to salvage the conversation by noting the fenders were original that I had found in a barn in Nebraska for sale.

After complements exchanged with another 4020 owner he added that he did the entire restoration himself. I was like uh yeah I did some of the mechanical(like fixed the 3 point is all I did), but mostly wrote checks.

I appreciate the encyclopedic knowledge some of these old time farmers have of their equipment, but man it's stressful because pretend city farmer Tom gets exposed pretty quickly.

My favorite guy was probably in his 70s?  Long sleeves, straw hat on a 3020.  Not a bead of sweat just enjoying the drive. Loaded up right beside me pulls his tractor on the trailer.  Tightened the chain boomer himself with a 3 ft piece of pipe and good to go while I am fiddling with my tow straps and wench.

You're going to be removed from the will in two weeks.
It took 2 months but I have been grounded from the farm for doing to much cleaning

Do it man.  We can hit the circuit together.  It really is a good time, and the people are great despite my insecurities.

Tom, I got a Farmall H and a IH 504.  I would enjoy tractor parades, but neither one is restored.
Hot time in Kat town tonight.

Farmall H is like it's own club like 4020s.  Very cool and popular tractor.  Here are a couple on the cruise.

If they are  mechanically sound original condition with that farm used patina its cool too.  Our tractor was so beat up and abused it needed new tin and paint.  Guys that take care of stuff or have a lightly used 40 year old tractor... those are cool.

I installed a hydraulic loader that I installed about 20 years ago.  It's off a newer than my '52 and has a trip bucket.   Very dangerous with row crop front end on it.  Rolled it once when hauling 600-800 lb. round bale.  It's been setting for around 16 years.  Also need to replace a gasket on the live PTO.  Lifted something to heavy and blew the gasket.
Hot time in Kat town tonight.

My ban from the farm has been lifted after 1 week and the old locks will be put back on the door next time he is out there.

He even wrote me a thank you note and gave me me $100 for cleaning the garage.
