Yeah, it's not like you have to be a D-1 head coach forever to develop beneficial relationships in the basketball world. He was a JUCO head coach in FL, lead assistant in the Big XII and SEC, and now head coach at a D1 school in Texas. He's been around the rough ridin' block. I'm sure he's not making cold calls if he gets the K-State job and needs to hire a staff and start filling roster spots.
