At he end of Frank's K-State stint, Brad was coming to in-home visit to be the closer. His K-State passion is an asset for sure. He was developing as a recruiter.

recruiting is about the relationships built between college coaches and aau coaches.  it's who you know.

brad needs NCAA success and lots of ass kissing time to build his brand before he will be able to recruit at a high major level.

when you talk any him developing into a recruiter, this is what you should be referring to

underwood did a lot of the recruiting while at kstate.  he knows how to recruit.

Yeah, it's not like you have to be a D-1 head coach forever to develop beneficial relationships in the basketball world. He was a JUCO head coach in FL, lead assistant in the Big XII and SEC, and now head coach at a D1 school in Texas. He's been around the rough ridin' block. I'm sure he's not making cold calls if he gets the K-State job and needs to hire a staff and start filling roster spots.

Underwood, Lon and Hoi would lead a lot of races to 100 points.

Brads recruiting would be dependent on his assistants, imo.

Brad doesn't really play that fast.

When the other teams does, he does.

100 might be a little bit of hyperbole

His defense is really fast, kind of like Huggins.

True. Last year his defense was 2nd fastest and his offense was 9th slowest in the country. Crazy.

K-State would be pretty good in the Southland Conference, maybe we should just do that instead.

I think in a lot of cases, recruiting relatively well at a lower level can translate into recruiting relatively well at a higher level. But not always, and I share your concern. If Brad could keep up this level of success with his own roster, it would be a lot easier to evaluate.
