I think the first time I saw anything similar to it was Cartier Martin's senior year. I remember one time specifically, but he put it up to his eye and looked through it. At the time I asked a friend what the heck it was. He actually said it was a BW(the thumb and index of the "C" closed) for Bill Walker because it was after he had his season ending injury. I assume that was not the case, and it was the stupid WC thing. I had never in my life seen it done before at KSU. It has since became the foul gesture that it is today...I did find it odd how it started being used with the weird little chant thing and done like a tomahawk chop...I suppose there might be some legitimacy to that, but I never saw it in the 90s.
