I was only able to see the last 8 minutes or so of the game, but Jevon attacked the basket and finished well.  Granted it was a small sample size against a bad team but it was very nice to see.

he also needs to finish layups and shoot threes and play better defense. Other than that he's great!

he is 2 for 2 on his most recent layups.   College ball is tough, but he may just be getting it.

Maybe next game he'll score in double figures for the first time in a conference game and third time in his career. Sky's the limit for this kid.

I think the implication here is that he doesn't even try to score. And he should at least a little bit more.

he hasn't attempted a 3 in a conference game but yeah I guess his 2FG is OK even considering the ridiculously low usage rate.

He should get in the lane more, but other than that I am fine how he played the last 3 games. Westicles should shoot more. Foster needs more looks.

I'm fine with how Tre Harris has played the last three games, too

anyone know what their +/- or ortg/drtg look like? maybe since conference?

Conference only + / -
Big Meat  +9
Hopper  +3
Jevon Thomas  +3
Marcus Foster  +2
Westicles +1
Nino Williams  +1
Nigel Johnson  0
Malek Harris  -2
Thomas Gipson -2

Funny that our most experienced players have our lowest +/-.  I agree with that Gip hasn't performed well in conference.

This is per game average right? Not total.

Nigel's lack of confidence is concerning. All other things equal, leads me to believe Jevon should play more in the short term. Of course not playing Nigel could just reinforce his lack of confidence. We're mumped.
