So I was in D.C. on Thursday when all of the tea ppl were there. Conclusions:
-95% are white and over 40
-The other 5% are white and under 40
-I didn't even see one token minority tea partier in my extended walk from the Supreme Court Bldg. to the White House
-The Smithsonian Museum of Natural History is pretty sweet. Not as good as NYC tho
-I don't think that anyone in the group really knows what they're angry about. They're just pissed b/c the lefty guy won
-If they hadn't been wearing the OBAMA SOCIALIST/NAZI/POL POT stuff, there would have been absolutely no way for me to distinguish Tea Party ppl from the average frumpy American tourist
-Tea Partiers were overall pretty peaceful and not harassing of other people. Didn't see a whole lot of "revolutionizing" going on. Probably b/c D.C. has an assload of security to pound your ass 200 times over if you eff around (I had a cop get pissed at me b/c i pulled a camera out of my pocket at the capitol).
-They were generally just kinda entertaining to watch, coming from an "i don't really give all that much of a crap" perspective
-They need a metro stop closer to Jefferson Memorial
