For some reason, the elite Buttonwillow, CA reference has turned into the best thing in this thread.

A biscuit is the only place I'll touch gravy...and only a small amount.  Gravy on everything else is gross.

Eggs sunny side up, w/ a toasted bagel (whole wheat), w/ lite cream cheese on top. Add ketchup and hot sauce to the eggs. :lick:

The ppl at Heinz still can't believe that they actually got ppl to buy more ketchup by making them think it is OK to put it on eggs.  Ppl rolling in Heinz's office.

i mean i suppose i could just eat a plain biscuit without butter or anything else on it, but why go through the trouble of making the biscuit when all i'd really need would be a spoon and some flour? oh yum this is great.

I occasionally will eat ketchup or a ketchup/tabasco melange on certain potato foodstuffs (fries, tots, etc).  I will not apologize for that.  Being snobby just for the sake of being snobby is ignorant.

I can't even process the cottage chz thing you just typed in your blog post.  That is completely made up, imo, and has never actually happened.

Yeah.  Ketchup on eggs is a thing ( a gross thing but still a thing) but ketchup on cottage cheese has never happened on purpose.  I refuse to believe it.

It's simple @mocat. I tear off the bagel and dip it in the yolk, ketchup, hott sauce mix i've created and eat it. Sometimes I cut up part of the egg and place it on top of a piece of my bagel. Man, i'm getting hungry.

i have seen it before and its rough ridin' gross, thats why i lumped it in with wacky putting ketchup on his eggs

butter complements the biscuit and adds to its flavor.  it'd be a better post if i said gravy detracts from the biscuit, but i can't say that.  gravy shits all over the biscuit and completely ruins it.

mocat said gravy made buiscuits soggy. it was a stupid thing to say but i assumed he meant it and wouldn't put anything on his biscuit that would also make it soggy and just ate them plain which as stupid as it sounds seems to be his position.

I like B&G.

But sometimes just plain ole buttermilk biscuits are great.  If has to be well made and fresh though.  Put some apple butter on there, yum!

P.S.
Gravy doesn't make biscuits soggy.
