Winters and I were talking about this earlier. Having read the blog from the beginning, I think it comes down to a few things that have already been pointed out in this thread:
1. PI'ing is non existent. Our quality control used to be incredible. It is now nonexistent.
2. The lack of creativity hurts, but I don't think it's because of the lack of creative people. Looking back to the growth of KSUfans, we had an entertaining dumpster fire in Prince as a HC and Huggins/Frank as a basketball coach. This lead to a span of pure entertainment happening (good or bad) in our athletic department culminating in #TITLETOWN. After that year, for the most part, our athletics have been ranging from mediocre to pretty good. Not bad to watch, but not inspiring to create over with Snyder and oscar as HCs.
3. There's definitely a bit of a changing of the guard going on. Some of the old guard has outright left. Those who remain, they can't commit everything to the blog anymore, nor should they be expected to. We do have young talent coming up but they've gotta come into their own.
