PPP seems to be the most important right
no need to do this, but I always thought points per possession was a better indicator. it also seems like it's harder to find that stat than points per play for football. Why?
If it were up to me, Wintz would be on a fan scholarship, full ride.
So Snyder leans heavily on the pass when he has the least amount of talent, interesting.
that was our best year to win it all
2002 never ever gets brought up in the best team discussion, its like a football discussion black hole. Those numbers are the only thing I really remember about 2002 is that Holiday Bowl and T Suggs totally wrecking everything but it not being enough. Ell was a tough sonofabitch.

Man, if he played ten yrs later it would have been for McNeese state.
Roberson was also still a work in progress in 02. Against UT and CU he completed less than 40% at about 6 yards per attempt.
We lost to Colorado because Phil Bennett is a dumbass

It was Iowa reject Bob Elliot in 2002. Bret Bielma might have been listed as Co DC, but I always though that was more a courtesy than anything to keep him from moving on or to give him more money and that Elliot was calling the shots on D.
