Cc thread

Gonna win 'em all!

Well that is quite the twist
i've kind of tried, but man, a couple free flights a year just is not a big enough payoff. Maybe I should have tried more hardcore?

Anything that requires children/their parents to solicite people to buy stuff as a fund raiser.  Not worth it for anyone involved.

Only exception is Girl Scout cookies.  However, that's not really soliciting.  That's just them setting up in front of a store or laying down an order form on a table to sell themselves.

Hanging Christmas lights on the house is def worth it. But it's a total waste of time to try to save those shitty little lights you put on Christmas trees. Half the time they won't work again next year anyway. I just toss em with the tree.

Painting (doing it right) sucks and I'd rather pay someone else to do it.

Same goes for oil changes.

Same goes for washing my car. The $6 car wash down the street is well worth it.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

i would be curious to see how often the christmas light industry intentionally makes their lights crap quality so you have to buy a new string every year, i bet its all the rough ridin' time

If I every hang lights anywhere ever again, I'm never putting them away.  I'm going to Hobby Lobby Dec 29th and buying new lights in a box for 10% of the original price and setting them on the shelf.  If I plan of repeating this for years to come I'm buying a 5 year supply at once and still taking up less storage space than if I tried to put used ones away myself and with no effort.

i bet they have a 183 day half-life and after 2 half-life's everything is so corroded they are unusable, so that probably wouldn't work
