Raking leaves. 50 bags this fall. 50.
If you want healthier grass next year, it is totally worth the effort.

It's creepy that you think it's mutually exclusive, because you know financial losers and you're apparently a social loser.  Like it never occurred to you that you could have it all.  And before you even try, you definitely don't.
My point wasn't that you couldn't have it all, but that if you couldn't, if you were primarily in college for the social aspect, you could just live in a college town and do something else with your time and not shell out thousands in tuition every semester that you don't expect any return on.  And furthermore, eat a dick Breads.

Seems like some painful feelings have been rehashed from your time spent as a nobody in college.  I'd probably be furious too.
My prescience is fully engorged.  It throbs with righteous accuracy.  I am sated.

people need to quit beating around the bush, it's not just one aspect of decorating for christmas, or decorating for christmas in general, it's decorating for all holidays. not worth it.

I know that is generally true. My backyard keeps getting muddier, seemingly regardless of the care it gets.

Not all of us can have the kind of felony-assaulty-good time you did in college Breads, its an unfair bar to measure up to.

A college degree is usually worth it. But seems like about 50% of the classes I had to take (and theoretically pay for, cept for scholarships) were a total waste of time. But if the degree is worth it, then I guess all those classes are worth it. Undergrad could really be two years, though, and that's where we're heading.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

I'll probably get crap for this, but...

College. I say this because I've lead a somewhat non typical lifeline up until now, and based on personal experience the whole cost/benefit analysis of it just screams eff THAT. Too bad employers don't see my logic...
Many careers require a professional and/or doctoral degree in order to obtain a required license.  More to what I believe you are speaking of, the benefit is mildly noticeable in the beginning of a career, but compounds as it maturates.  Many upper level positions simply aren't accessible without a bachelor's or master's degree.

All but 1 or 2 classes that I took were very useful. Seems like maybe you should have picked better electives.

College for me was basically going to school all day with my friends and having a great time. I worked an on-campus job about 10 hours per week and enjoyed that, too. If I would have just moved to Manhattan to work, I'd have just been working some shitty job, living with high rent, with absolutely no way to justify it. There is a whole lot more to the college experience than just going out and getting blasted on cheap drinks Thursday night.

Boil potatoes, preferably cubed so it goes quicker but whatever. Drain. Add milk or cream and butter. Mash. Season to taste.

Excellent diagnosis. I did get behind on that this year, had to try and catch up with that this summer.

staying for the bruceketball game when you were already in the fOOD for the women's game earlier in the day.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I can easily think of half a dozen posters on this board that prove this wrong... totally worth the effort.
