Why would you throw a back shoulder to Burton with the game on the line?

This is the weirdest thing.  It just rough ridin' sucks that it ended like that.

Burton's been really weird all season
For your own sake,  please don't place any hope or confidence in Burton for the future. Can confirm he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Hey Art, you lost to an average West Virginia team. I guess that game doesn't count.

If we had a team full of Tyler Locketts we win this game.  No one else has any heart or talent.

It does. It just means WVU is clearly the better team in Brile's eyes.

Would be a dreamy playoff but still bittersweet as it would just verify they are onlyvinterested in blue bloods if they can remotely justify it.

Loose Ball Out of Bounds
ARTICLE 3. a. A ball not in player possession, other than a kick that scores a
field goal, is out of bounds when it touches the ground, a player, a game official
or anything else that is out of bounds, or that is on or outside a boundary line.

ARTICLE 15. a. Out of Bounds
1. A player is out of bounds when any part of his body touches anything other
than another player or a game official on or outside a boundary line.

This was bugging me because, despite seeing numerous fumbles near the out of bounds line and subsequent dog piles of players both in and out of bounds trying to recover them, I don't remember seeing it called that way before. Carry on.
