I don't understand people who hate angel. He was great for us. Now he's great for Miami. I'm not mad about him leaving after the person he moved across the country to play basketball for left. I don't know if that's why some people are so mad or not.
I don't hate him, but I always find the obsession over transfer players weird on here at times. Especially dumbass posts like from "john curie is gross/weird". Like some posters choose some players over their own school on here.
people know that florida was down 4 players and started a walk on today, right?
4-for-11 on FGs. Yep - that's our Angel. I miss his "I'm the best and you can't stop me" attitude. Definitely missed him last year, but I feel pretty good about Nigel/Jevon going forward.
Don't know if this is the place to put this, but son of a bitches I miss the guy.P.S. I put this in the Mike Dud thread, cause I didn't read this one.GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Angel Rodriguez scored 24 points, none bigger than those that came on a falling-down, hand-in-the-face 3-pointer with 16 seconds remaining, and Miami overcame a 15-point deficit to upset No. 8 Florida 69-67 on Monday night. The Hurricanes (2-0) scored 48 points in the second half as Rodriguez took over. The former Kansas State guard hit three consecutive 3-pointers that helped Miami take the lead with 1:45 left. His free throw tied it with 1:13 remaining. But his fifth 3 of the game was the dagger that ended Florida's school-record, 33-game winning streak at home. Kasey Hill had a hand in his face and even knocked him to the floor, but the off-balanced shot went in.
