What is funny about ppl buying into a made up budget issue is that Sam actually skewed it and used it against Davis.  I mean, the supposed budget shortfall projected 5yrs out is the same amt Sam kept saying Davis, the crazed lib, wanted to raise taxes by.  Hmmm.

Yeah, they're all going off of a baseline number from 2012 that is now irrelevant and a shortfall that never even remotely became true. 

We do get a bunch of mouthbreathing and press each of the handful of months where revenue doesn't meet or exceed budget. Democrats are really rough ridin' desperate to declare Kansas a failure and are extremely butthurt it's not being run the same way it was for the last five decades with an aging and declining population. Johnson County has carried virtually all the water over that time period.
