Hammes' teams at Rural when I was playing sucked. We had 2 winning seasons out of 3 when I was on varsity, no playoffs. Never was his fault. The football culture and how Rural does football will always keep them mediocre. I am glad DH got on with a powerhouse smaller school that is all about football. DH is an amazing human and deserves many state titles.
