it has definitely gone downhill the last few years - Corso really shouldn't do more than one segment or two, Rinaldi's stuff is so formula-matic it makes genuinely interesting stories cliche and Desmond is still a very distant 3rd when compared to Herbie and Fowler after almost 10 years on the show.  All that said, FS1's attempt with Erin Andrews was worse and lasted all of one year.

I do enjoy Pollack and the QB breakdowns by George Whitfield have potential.

I still have our gameday in '98 versus Nebraska on VHS. The formula for the show hasn't changed at all, it's just longer. Of course they are going to talk about the SEC longer than anyone else they are the best conference with the most interesting games every week. No one is forcing you guys to watch the show. It is drawing 2 million viewers on cable on Saturday mornings when a good percentage of its fanbase don't get to watch on a given week because they are traveling to or are at college football venues, they are clearly doing something right.
