Maybe if they just run the vacuum in the same direction over the turf before the game it would look better.  You know, fluff up the nap a little.

This is what I was thinking.   Kinda like a zamboni except for GameDay 360 Fieldturf.

They drag the turf on gamedays similar to what they do to the dirt on baseball infields 

What are they dragging the turf with.   Because the last time I saw pictures of the K-State grounds crew "dragging the turf" it was literally a guy on a John Deere Gator pulling a chain with two empty freight pallets attached to the end.    This was just a few years ago and I thought at the time we'd quit being so small timey a long time ago, but I was wrong.

All they need to do is run one of these bad boys over it.  Would make it look a lot better.

And the reason it is matted is down, is because it is practiced on 24/7 instead of just being used for games.

How much is it to replace?  Like only $1m or so?  Is it even that much?  If it is we could probably replace it every year without a problem with our money.  Maybe the dozers will eff it up when they install the limestone wall and we have to replace it.

I mean, I know we're  and all, but why do we have 3 football practice fields and yet we practice in the stadium all the time? Seems like a waste to me.

Guess it would make sense to have a practice field (with the same field turf) connected to Vanier. 

In fact, aside from the indoor facility, do we even have a practice field with artificial turf?  I think we don't.  Are those natural grass practice fields ever used?
