I only celebrate one combined birthday a year for all living beings. it is very freeing, the whole rest of the year I can just relax.

The Theory of Everything

It's on HBO right now and is about the life of Stephen Hawking. The movie focuses a lot more on his personal life and his wife, and doesn't touch on the abuse he suffered later in life, which wasn't out when the doc was released in 2014. I have always had an affinity with Hawking and since I love theoretical physics I can't believe it took me this long to watch this semi-doc. His contributions from Hawking Radiation to his general study of black holes and time have expanded physics in a way we haven't seen since Einstein. His passing ~2 months ago sent a shock wave(gravitational waves?) through the scientific community and his absence is missed.
