This team realistically has a shot of making one of the big bowls (Peach, Cotton, Sugar or Fiesta) and winning the Big 12Unfortunately we cost ourselves a chance at the playoffs.

daniel sams isn't walking through that door. this team will lose three more.

It is very clear at this point that this team really could use SAMs as a red zone QB, if nothing else.

I wish with my whole heart that Sams didn't leave us for the garbage school, but he's gone and he's not coming back.

If K-State goes undefeated in Big 12 play (which would include beating highly ranked OU and Baylor squads) I think they'll get an invite to the Playoff.

Everyone talks about how a 1-loss SEC team should get in.  Well, having 1 loss to an SEC team is pretty much the same thing, right?

Nope, KSU is out.  Even if we win out. It will likely be FSU, sec x 2, and PAC 12 winner/ Oklahoma if they win out.

I respectfully disagree.

It's a HUGE "if," but if K-State runs the table in the Big 12 I do not see the committee passing them over.  If K-State is in the discussion at the end of the year at all (which they would be if they kept winning) then all anyone would talk about is how K-State should have won that Auburn game.  Anyone who actually watched it saw who the better team was.
