I like his name. Feels like it could be the name of a bad ass blues guitarist

DRob will still get carries, but it feels like as the season moves on, Jones will be the feature guy.

I'm liking the one two punch of CJ and DRob. Wish Judah got a carry or two though.

Almost 6 yards a carry.   I don't know, maybe he should touch the ball a little more  :dunno:

I feel like he does a lot of things reasonably well.  Running the football, Wildcat, receiving the football, etc.

It also seems like he's a youngster with the right intrinsic values.

bill does too.  however bill doesn't call the shots, apparently.  which is weird since he is, ya know, the head coach or whatever.

Drob is kind of not good, imo.  like imagine a heavier, slower sproles who doesn't make people miss.

I'm surprised by his lack of burst/explosiveness.

It appeared that he got confused as to what was going on when Waters was changing things at the line  :dunno:

Drob?  I'm not.  Anyone who saw him in HS should have realized it, imo.  Never understood his star rating.  On a related not, I hope someone gives Denzel Goolsby some film on Lamar Chapman and Rashaad Washington.

charles should get every carry forever. but not the stupid wildcat anymore.

can he throw? if they add a jump pass or something i'd be okay with running it i guess. but at this point, it's the most predictable football play in the history of football plays. and i don't like that.

Are Dimel-Miller even more stubborn and less tolerant than LHC LHC Bill Snyder?

It scored a big TD in the 4th.

yeah. right after failing to convert a 4th and 1 in the 4th.

it's too predictable. against more athletic defenses it will be completely ineffective.

I don't mind running it at the goal line. But running it close to midfield or wherever, no. It's absolutely stupid.

It just seems like Charles Jones is more multi-dimensional.  A play maker, if you will.

Seems like he has the ability to make guys miss, like Judah Jones.  Could be some stubbornness.

To be fair, the 4th down version was a different formation (no FB, extra TE) that in theory created an extra gap. ISU safety (I believe) made a great play in knocking down a pulling lineman which blew up the play. Honestly had we gone with Gronk as the lead FB and come downhill we probably get the first down.

I'll have to re-watch to confirm, but I think that's accurate. I'll probably do another Wildcat breakdown as well.

I'd put money down that Jones throws out of the Wildcat against Auburn.
