Baker left before he could be put on scholly. It was Dec 12th, while the fall semester was still in session and Tech didn't have a scholly to give in that semester. Baker was going to get one in the spring. He left because Kliff had already announced Brewer was starting the bowl game. Baker left because he couldn't stand Kliff and Kliff announcing Brewer was starting was the last straw. I honestly think Baker purposely left before the semester ended so he couldn't be put on scholly but could still play the "I'm a walk on and should be given an exception to the transfer rules" card.

we barely squeezed out a victory against iowa state and lost to auburn (who played like hot garbage). they could definitely beat us.
