I think it will be nice if we can get to the point where we have the talent to straight-up beat teams more than we have to rely on teams beating themselves.

I don't think we were there in 12 honestly. That was almost the epitome of a team that let other teams beat themselves.

Our game against Oregon proved that.

Really, 98 to 03. 97 was close, but not quite.

93-96 and 11-14 are pretty similar. And something to be appreciated. Being really talented and deep as a football program was fun, but I still like being good and winning most of the games we should win. I hope we don't take that for granted.

When CK and TLBL were healthy that was a very effective offense.  The D was about as good as you will see in this era of Big 12 football when Zim was in.

I would put them a notch below the DoD teams just due to the lack of depth tho

Playing on a heated field tho  :frown:. Nothing better than watching a football game played on an inch plus of snow.

Here's how my Saturday went...

(Took part in Marshall's Veteran's Day weekend pregame ceremony. This was also the weekend of the crash in 1970, first pic is at the actual Memorial this afternoon. Pretty moving experience, honestly.)

It's amazing, but FSU will likely go the whole regular season without beating a ranked team (ranked at the end of year, which is the only ranking that matters).

Lot of good games today. May have been the best Saturday of the season if Miami had sealed the deal.
