did dax just call snyder a two star iowa ditr that kstate coached up?
It depends on how you look at it. The K-State administration pretty much thought he was a 2 star, because he was like the 7th choice.
If you look at his track record prior to K-State, you'd have to call him a 4 star. Thus in hindsight, it's hard to understand why K-State didn't make the call sooner in the search process.
But again, I know the Snidites get all butt hurt with my take, and as I always say, sadly these people think individuals are greater than the university that allowed them to become who they are. Which, as I like to say is . . . kind of sad . . . really. I'm all for individualism, but in this case the university must get the nod in the risks that it took, the control it allowed, and deference to Snyder's whims it acquiesced to . . .
Plus, I've noticed in other circles the creeping effect of the mythical "Snyder never asked for a raise" nonsense. Now, do I think Snyder ever walked into the AD's office and asked for more money, no. Do I firmly believe that Snyder expected to get paid more money over the course of time, absolutely. You can't have the findings of the post Wefald audit and then tell yourself that LHC LHC Bill Snyder grudgingly cashes his paycheck every month.
