Tiger's back
bones129:
Tiger withdrew today with more back problems. Didn't look good at all. Is he done for the PGA Championship next week and for the season? Out of the Ryder Cup?
I'd say all of the above. He might try the PGA, but I don't think he'll finish.
SdK:
Hahaha so what you mean is Tiger's not back (back).

Yeah the thread title confused me for a bit too. Really? he's back? A guy who hasn't won a major in 6 years? OH his actual back. Yes, that.
bones129:
OK, the thread title was a bit ambiguous. Meant to start a discussion about his back probs.
That said, today's round at the PGA clearly poves that Tiger is not "back" in the performance sense.
I wonder if he will ever be.

I don't think he will ever be "back" to dominating like he did in the late 90's early 2000's. He has had many health problems with his knees, back, and isn't getting any younger (he's 38 :surprised:), plus there is a lot of new young blood that while aren't as dominate as Tiger was the Rorys and Keymers and Watson's and many others supply a lot of pressure. He still should end up beating out Nicklaus for all time Major victories but this idea of him being just going out and winning a Major tourny especially since it's been 6 years since his last Major victory is just ludicrous and needs to stop. He'll get there, but at like a victory a year, maybe.
