I'm saying that it's very unlikely and posting specific things they would have to live up to as reasons why. and I disagree strongly on the newman comparison. newman didn't have near the impact on games that arthur had.

arthur brown was the best defensive player in the history of our program
DRob understands the offense and his skill level is "appropriate"

No prob. Also, dvonta's transcripts still have a hold on them cause he still owes money. Someone really needs to take care of this asap. Maybe if he didn't broadcast it all over twitter, this would have been no big deal.
I live in Roseville, CA (suburb of Sacramento), where Taylor Laird, recent QB commitment, is from. I was standing in line at a 7-11 the other day when I noticed that the young woman behind me was wearing a K-State t-shirt. I told her I'm from Manhattan, lifelong K-State fan, etc., and then I asked her if she was a student at K-State. She said no, but that her boyfriend, Taylor Laird, is the starting quarterback of the football team. I told her I thought Jake Waters would be the starter this year, and she said, "Yes, Jake is the starter this year, but Coach Snyder has already told Taylor he'll be the starter next year." I just smiled and nodded. Always good to have someone rooting for you...
I was expecting to hear more about jake in this thread. Maybe no news is good news?
2012 offense controlled the ball. we ran well. we threw well. chris was a first down catching machine. we don't have a proven big target when we have to get 7 yards. we're going to see shitloads more 3 and outs than we did in 2012.
dobber thinks that Jake has become more accustomed to Snyder's qb run game and is going to have a breakout season.(can somebody confirm that so I can get even more excited )
