As long as we're derailing...

GI Joe teaches kids to associate the color blue with good and the color red with evil.
so ku bball is blue and fball is red. makes sense.

I had a lot of the 12" figures as well. Destro was my favorite of those. That mask was v. intriguing to me for some reason.

I remember as a kid there was this kid who kept inviting me over to his house to play.  I kept blowing him off until one time I gave in.

I walked into his bedroom and saw this:

Loved, LOVED Sci-Fi

I felt like such a stud when i got that on Christmas morning.  Wasted hours looking at it in the JCPenny catalog that fall/winter.

I remember going over to my neighbor kid's house and playing with the aircraft carrier.  It was freaking awesome.  Just checked Ebay and it is going for a pretty large some of cash right now (around $1500 to $1700) for a complete USS Flagg.  Whoa.

There was some American Picker type show that was strictly for toys on A&E, the Travel Channel, or one of those similar channels. The guy came across a USS Flagg new in box and purchased it to sell at a convention. I think he was asking like $2,500 to start off with. Insane.

I had one of these bad boys as a kid.  We beat the crap out of those commie bastards.  That missile shot further than any toy missile launcher I've ever come across. Voosh  BOOM!
