So, I was behind a gravel truck today.  It had a sign on the back that said "NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BROKEN WINDSHIELDS".  Can a person remove liability just by claiming to not be responsible?  If so, I may buy a shirt that says "NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BROKEN NOSES" and then punch people if I feel like it.

no, but they can show that they warned people behind them to keep their distance or whatever. whether or not that is shown to be worth a crap or not is another story.
