I have this set of silverware in a nice wooden box that used to belong to my grandmother (who died when I was a baby) that is sitting under our futon and we have never used.

During the remodel planning, Gooch said we should get new silverware (everyday use) and I said that we have that nice set...He said, "No that's not for every day use."

I came home to the refrigerator door open in my kitchen last night.  Pretty unusual/weird. 

I have china that we got for the wedding, which hasn't been unpacked since we moved nearly two years ago, and has never been used, but it's not in the kitchen.

It was kind of a half wall thing behind the range to separate the living room from the kitchen. Kind of stupid really But hey it was the 90's. Now becoming an island with a range.
