I don't know why I gave Paul Molitor the nod for the Brewers. I think it is because I had been thinking of him in the Twins and Jays picks earlier. It's not Paul Molitor. Brewers fans love them some Robin Yount. He's close to Brett status.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Good call on A's fans not enjoying RJ going to the Hall as a Yankee.

The LA Dodgers are curiously ambiguous with regard to beloved position players. It really is crazy that out of non-pitchers the biggest name Dodgers played almost exclusively in Brooklyn.

That, or they played the peak of their careers elsewhere.

Zubaz came out in the 90's, Starter jackets, awesomely tacky ball caps. Idk, mocat. I just don't know.

If I still owned any of my 90's sports gear, I'd wear it proudly. I will admit that I think it's a category that's pretty polarized.

cf3, you're wrong about johnny bench.

it's pete rose. it's not close. rose is a cinci kid. his dad was a local legend. he was the living breathing personification of every little local kid's dream.
"I started calling him John during the game, cause he was rocking it like No. 7 -- like Elway," Harper said."

Rose played for Philly and Montreal too, Bench played for the Reds only. Rose also was banned from baseball, so I would imagine many are firmly Rose supporters, but Bench is more universally loved. JMHO.

Frank Thomas might be pretty universal as the White Sox choice, but I think Michael Jordan would be like 4th at worst for them.
