Talk to the neighbors and buy some ear plugs. You should never call the cops unless it sounds like acts of violence are occurring, IMO.
how is he going to hear the sounds of acts of violence with ear plugs in

It's about neighbors, calm and rowdy.  It's all encompassing.  There is strong precedent for master threads here.  Am I mistaken?

Stronger for some more than others it looks like.

What if calling the cops prevents an act of violence?

What if asking them to quiet the eff down on a Monday night at 3am doesn't work?

I mean, if it is a one time thing, who cares.  What if it happens often?

What if the house burns down while you're asleep?

Fwiw a fight could have very well broken out at any moment. There was alot of yelling.

What are the demographics of your apartment complex? Is it mostly college students? Mostly young professionals? Poors/middle class/wealthy studs? This is key in deciding whether you should be calling the cops on your neighbors.

I was outside watering my plants and my girlfriend was inside the house playing Mario Kart... She was not doing very well and yelled "f*ck me, God d@mmit... NOOOOOO!" at the top of her of lungs.  I heard every word crystal clear from out in the lawn with no windows or doors open.  I've started putting a pillow over her face when we are being romantic now.

That probably makes it hard for her to breathe. Maybe try a ball gag next time.  :dunno:

I'm afraid that would open up doors I'm no longer young and energetic enough to walk through.

OK, I understand. Accidentally smothering your girlfriend to death while being intimate is a risk you are willing to take though.

I called the cops on some rowdy neighbors once. They were all like 'bro, I asked you to call me first if we were too loud.'

It really made them upset. They started pranking us but went way over the top. My infant was playing with a condom in the front yard!

They even took my airbags out of my car and hid them in various chairs, totally hurt when I sat on them.

My wife and I finally decided to fight back. We got the main bro's girl to have sex with his best friend (bro #2) and they got into a fight. Then we invited the while town to their house party and they got expelled.

I've been on the fence about this trogdor guy for quite some time, I've decided that I don't care for him.

Hate to break this to you but I don't think your girlfriend was playing Mario Cart. You should keep a close eye on your neighbor
