Also, I think you're just as likely to have piece of crap tenants in Kechi as you would in a more urban location.
i just re-read this thread and saw this post and my previous post and had a moment to contemplate.  This post is correct.  I was trying to get across that you never want to be the cheapest option on the market.  You can list a Kechi place  for an above market price just as well a place down in College Hill.

I don't think XChocolate posts here anymore, JohnyWichita, know if he ever ended up becoming a proper slumlord?

Also, i know a guy who has a few properties he rents out in MHK, theres a chance he might be interested in managing one for someone else on commission.  PM if interested.

The cost of storing them would probably be more then the wear and tear placed upon them.  And they wouldn't hurt in luring in nicer renters.

i was worried that that would sound pretty dickish. i'm honestly not a stuff/physical possessions person, im just kicking myself cause i overpaid for some stupid appliances and now someone else that isnt me will be using up a portion of their limited lifespan.

Depends on who you rent to

like i should look them over, then decide?

if you are going to try to decide whether they can use your stuff or not, yes you could probably tell by looking at them whether they will poop in your dishwasher or not

You could probably get enough in weekend/game day rentals to make as much as a regular renter. Do a comparison in your spreadsheet.
