ECF was great. Kudos to Boston for beating the Jordanesque Butler led Heat. Crazy to think Boston may have not only the best player, but the second best player in the finals. Last time that happened (arguably) Kyrie Irving was the one putting the Warriors to sleep — with a little help from the league.

This Boston crew has been battling for this for awhile now, but the Warriors story arc would be legendary to win this one sans-KD and after all of the injuries.

Gonna be great.

The NBA Playoffs are truly fantastic.

OF NOTE:
1. Boston fans are super nice. Just all friendly and chill.
2. Getting into and out of the arena was even less of a pain in the ass then getting into and out of Kauffman. It was a full arena and it never felt annoyingly busy or crowded.
3. Bought lil steve dave a stuffed larry bird and a tatum jersey at the game. He wore the jersey to school the day I got back and my wife was telling me he was asking alexa what the score was of the game the entire night while I was there after he found out I was going.

I would like to point out that since MY visit and MY purchase of a Tatum jersey and stuffed larry bird for MY son the Celtics they have whipped ass. Also the Astros have. lil sd lives a blessed sports life.

which team should a neutral fan root for? or rather which should a neutral fan root more against?

golden state has the underdog thing, but i don't buy it, with all the success they've had recently they can gtfo with that. but if they win, it makes KD's rings look worse.

boston is more of a homegrown underdog team, tatum and brown are likeable stars and deserve it. but eff boston.

golden state fans are tech bros vs boston fans are racists
draymond vs. marcus smart are great players to have on your team but hate to play against
steph/klay and tatum/brown are extremely (and almost equally) likeable
both coaches seem like great guys

I kind of like that Brad Stevens was once seen as a boy wonder coach but the Celtics are having the most success, with largely the same group, once they got a new coach
