met a guy in mexico who broke his arm by someone kicking a soccer ball at it.  everyone acted like it was a normal thing that normally happens.

I work with a guy whose HS daughter had both arm bones broken by a soccer ball in a match.

assuming we get 2nd, cheer for algeria to win their game and belgium to lose for us to get algeria.  any other result, it's belgium.  people seem overly optimistic about a us/belgium matchup imo.  algeria is not a bad team either

ghanain (sp?) studs sully muntari and kevin prince boateng got the boot and will not play against portugal today.  there's been a bunch of unrest, unwillingness to travel etc over payment issues.

sounds like muntari slapped a team official and boateng basically told the coach to EABOD.

Idk all I know is they made a huge issue about flying in 3 million dollars to be paid to the team should they advance.

And yeah, I'd like to know which ones don't make good enough money that they're worried about money.
