I love that the geopolitical pariahs can come have fun. too bad. north korea didn't qualify. I'll def pull for Iran. Not sure whether to put russia in this category, because they are a borderline superpower.

i have watched every game start to finish so far (some on tape delay) and am starting to wear down a bit. i'm going to mow the lawn tonight and then watch the s. kor/russia game and get all pak'd and then blast this thread all over again

CONMEBOL (SA)= SEC and UEFA (Euros) = Big 10 is pretty easy IMO

CAF (Africa) = ACC, AFC (Asia) = AAC or whatever seems to fit OK

I guess that leaves CONCAF (NA) = Big 12 and OFC (Oceania) as PAC 12 but I don't really love either. I mean, OFC is more WAC or WCC than PAC 12.

Also, this line from the Wold Cup wiki page would make even the Power 5 conference commissioners and ADs blush
