Its this kind of non progressive thinking that has led to the bowl system being in place forever. Whatever. If I were in charge you'd be pretty excited for WC 2017 and WC 2020. Think about that. Think about it.

What would be best, IMO, is if MLS gets to the level where it has a chance for at least the occasional upset of high end Euro teams then have the Club WC expand and be played every 4 years opposite the WC

Guys if college football goes to a 16 team playoff, it cheapens the regular season, plus all the school the players would miss? It would never work.

There's no way we could let women vote. Who would cook dinner? Plus we have the European club team tournament in odd years so really logistically there's no way. Everything is perfect like it is and we can't change it.

Hence why I said have it expand and be played every 4 years, not create it. Expand, enhance, and market the crap out of it.

Nobody cares about it right now because it sucks right now.
