This is where Coach K needs to earn his money. He needs to fire this team up and get their asses in gear for this second half. We need to give him 45 minutes and change of balls-to-the-wall nonstop shots on goal action.

They are just so much more aggressive than we are. It's like we are just trying to get to penalty shots or something.

Tim Howard getting that workout in.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

If we somehow win this game, there needs to be a bronze statue of Tim Howard placed in front of Team USA HQ.

Watching this game just proves how great the US could be at soccer if it was even the 2nd or 3rd most popular sport in the country.

These guys have out-shot us 24 to 5, out-fouled us 15 to 9, and out-cornered us 11 to 3.

We really need to draw a foul in the box if we want to win.

Probably getting there in the next generation or two.

Extra time lasts an eternity. I don't see us getting to PKs. We have to mount an offensive right now.

Yes, if this were football, we would be down 45.

No. It'd be the Miami goal line stand on repeat.

Maybe two, it's probably going to take the concussion issue effectively ending football as we know it. Basketball and baseball aren't going anywhere.

This team clearly didn't believe that they could win. Otherwise they would have tried to score.

This feels like a failure of the midfield and a lack of depth at the striker position.

I could be wrong.
