God help us! :bang:

Snyder indicated sophomore Collin Klein and senior Carson Coffman have pulled ahead of junior Sammuel Lamur in the battle for K-State's starting quarterback job, though the issue is not settled.

"I think maybe Carson and Collin have kind of separated themselves a little bit from Sammuel, but we certainly won't give up on Sammuel just because he doesn't have the experience," Snyder said

Someone has to "push" Klein.

I'm thinkin its time we become resigned to the fact that Carson will be the starter.  I mean we know the coach don't we?

Classic Snyds here guys. He's just making it so teams (who are no doubt already scouting us) prepare for a stand up untalented QB and then BAM we hit them with a running, Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) QB.

Pick your poison UCLA.

i honestly thought that it would bother most kstate fans that gregory is obviously gay. good to see that it doesn't/hasn't. i may have underestimated ksu fans here. who cares. gmafb.

yeah, i misinterpreted this quote way back when. I kinda feel bad about it. All this time. Sorry bro.

Given the fact that all 3 options seem to suck, I'd rather they give the starting job to whoever does best in Spring, even if it is Coffman.

However, I'd prefer that person not be a Senior so we don't have to do this sh*t all over again next year.  :flush:

 we run the ball 75% of the time and DT doesn't get hurt

Priorities (in order) for QB job next year.

1) Ability to throw vertical routes.
2) Ability to check at the LOS.
3) Ability to run the football.
4) Ability to make good decisions/not throw INTs.

JMHO.

is that your opinion or your opinion on what snyd's is looking for?

Semantics I suppose, but IMO #2 should be #4 and then move up #3 and #4 a spot.  Snyder's magical matrix of audibles can be summed up as follows:  when in doubt, check to the option.

That's my opinion.

I put checking up there b/c I think it will be on the QB to check to verticals, or different run schemes (not just option) based on different looks this year.  Teams are going to throw all kinds of stuff at us b/c a) whoever is QB will be inexperienced and b) teams will have to try lots of different wrinkles to stop Thompson.  He's good enough that even when you have a good defense called he can still hurt you, so that will cause DCs to take more chances IMO.

Very apt that "not getting Delay of Game penalties" didn't crack your list.

Loosely, that probably falls into #2.

If Carson does win it, it will be like last season. Suck balls first two games then he gets replaced. Idc if Slamur is dumb as eff, just get him on the field. Black, agile, and stuff. Just tell him "sam run left and if your going to get tackled PITCH IT TO ME!

If we start Carson in the opener, it's just an admission right from the beginning that there's no chance of winning this season. Would just be terribly depressing.
