I agree with offside to an extent. Prevents cherry picking. Which would Essentially turn into a bunch of pks.

Would ruin the beauty of the pitch, but 10/20 meter lines or something and you can't be more than 10/20 meters deeper than the last defender seems a fair trade.

offsides is fine. i do think its dumb how you can shoot the ball off the goalie and he saves it but if it goes to an offsides teammate he is ruled offsides. once that ball is kicked at the goal eff offsides.

it's only called offside if he was in an offside position at the time of the original shot

it can be a little confusing - you can be in an offside *position* all you want but you won't be called until you impact the play (ball is passed to you, you obstruct view of the keeper, ball is deflected to you)

yeah i understand the rule toby i just think its dumb. offsides is to prevent the cherry picker getting a pass and to stop the goalie from being screened and some other lame soccer crap, not to stop the advantage of the ball randomly bouncing off the post or the goalie to a player who can score.
