finally had a dude look at mine a few months ago that had been on for years.  there were like 3 cylinders mumped up and some other stuff, so I just waited until it quit running on I-70 over by that Abilene sex shop...

Sounds like the beginning of a porno or horror movie.

You can go buy a code reader at O'Reilly's for $150 or so.  It will spit out a code and then you can look it up on the net to see how serious it is.  Most of those will also clear out the code for you as well.  I have one and it works great.

You can go buy a code reader at O'Reilly's for $150 or so.  It will spit out a code and then you can look it up on the net to see how serious it is.  Most of those will also clear out the code for you as well.  I have one and it works great.

I don't like going to O'Reilly's...or any store for that matter more than I have to.  Plus, you can throw back some brews with your neighbor while you hook up their sled and see what the problem is.
