Sukhi's Indian Street Wraps

I really enjoy the Chicken Tikka Masala while mrs. dave likes the Veggie Samosa. Both have good spice and are easy to eat on the go. The Chicken Vindaloo wrap was somewhat bland. These are a staple in our freezer.

GRADE: A. Give them a try!

pop-tarts are a pretty good, portable breakfast option.

Caribean Cowboy On Fire! BBQ Sauce

I usually love spicy things. I guess I was used to the spicy BBQ sauces from the big names like Gates Extra Hot, etc. being just the right spiciness. So I got the hottest level of this one to try out. NO! TOO HOT! Turns out they have Bhut Jolokia chiles in this. Probably not very much of them but enough. It burns my entire mouth off every time I eat it. I'm about half way through the stuff and it always starts out good and about 2 minutes into chowing down I can't take it anymore.

GRADE: C. Probably great for those that can "take the heat" but was a bit hot for me.

The mild and medium are really good on pork and sometimes chicken.  I like it, but don't use it often.  Solid B.

Gortons Fish Sticks

I used to exclusively buy Sea Queen Fish Sticks until recently I purchased Gortons by mistake.  Wow! What a difference! The Gortons Fish Sticks remain extremely crunchy on the outside which perfectly compliments the soft, fishy center.  Sea Queen and others sometimes result in a flimsy, somewhat squishy stick, which is not as pleasing to my palate.

GRADE:  A-.  A little pricey for the 30 pack, but worth it for the robust flavor and crunchy outer layer.

the frito lay salad

grade:  a++ - it's a healthy alternative to some of the fried foods and junk foods us american's love to fill our gullets with.

They have them at Hyvee, Whole Foods and Natural Grocers here. We try to get them at Whole foods because they are 50 cents cheaper than Hyvee and we can also get the 10% case discount if we buy them by the box (I think there are 8 in a box).
