I just got my lab results back and I guess I have extremely low thyroid levels. Like almost as low as it can get. This is the cause for severe depression, hair loss and trimmers at times (which might explain my fear of public speaking all of a sudden). They’re getting me on thyroid medicine, plus a fish oil and a bunch of vitamins to help me. I knew something was up, it’s just nice to know that I wasn’t crazy this whole time. I mean, i'm on anxiety medicine, thyroid medicine, and blood pressure medicine now at the age of 29.  ?

Just think what would have become of you had you been born 100 years ago.

I think he means low triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4) levels.

I don't think it works like that.  I mean he's got basically lady T right now, so they're just balancing him out.  So then he's a regular joe with an increased chance at bitch tits and higher risk for prostate cancer.  He'll feel better tho (for a while).

Ask them if it's the stuff that goes in the "mouth" of the thyroid that's low or the stuff that comes out the "butt" of it.

If your doctor doesn't tell you those things then he/she is not very good or doesn't give a crap about you.  Maybe both.

Her assistant called me today to tell me my results. They told me what they suggested. This doctor has been a huge upgrade from my previous docter, but she's really hard to get into.
