Oh man. I'm gonna live in this thread for the next few days.

KK. Don't you dare feel like you have to justify Holiday as your fave. Don't you dare. It's fantastic.

To me, a more interesting question to me is, "Which one do you skip over to get to all the other ones?" Actually it's not that interesting, because everybody's gonna say No One Else.

In the Garage is my #1 jam on that album, but every track is great, even No One Else.

lil CF3 pretty much made it through middle school because of the blue album.

Well yeah No One Else is still better than like 99% of other songs you dummy dork stores. But nobody's gonna say it's their favorite or that it's on par with, say, Only in Dreams. Nobody. :don'tcare:

I could pick one now, listen to the album, and pick a completely different one this evening.  Such a good album.  In fact, I am going to test this theory.

Right now: Undone

Surf Wax was at one point my fav song on the album. I love the way it ends so hard and then smooth sailing right into Say It Ain't So.

IF I skip (i don't) its Undone.

Only In Dreams is the most overrated "underrated song" of all time.

No, it means everyone says it's the most underrated song of all time and it's really not that good. It's a good song, no doubt, but it's about middle of the pack in comparison to the rest of the blue album.

People who are interested in the construction of songs! What do Surf Wax America and Holiday have in common structurally? Show me what you know, let's geek out 2gether.

They each have a part in the middle that goes sort of soft and slow and is different than the rest of the song and then it picks back up again!

Boom.
