Any big man who has a starting job waiting for him at KU yet chooses to go to Texas is an obvious moran and the last thing we want on this team is a moran. I dont normally get worked up when we lose on recruits but decisions like this are just completely baffling. Im sure he will regret his decision when Barnes coaches him down into staying 3 years and his career highlight ends up being his 30 minute ESPN special.

This is very difficult to follow.  We have quotes from angry fans saying both that he'd be an instant starter at KU and are incredulous about him passing that up, and then others saying that he must have chose UT because he's afraid of competition.


I don't know what to think.  My guess, the guy is a huge NBA fan.  The most famous player in the NBA who went to college is Kevin Durant, so he probably just wants to be like him or something.  Who knows what these guys are thinking.
