Emulation
« on: April 27, 2014, 04:24:38 PM »
It's nice to see that ksu is still trying to emulate the Huskers. Your envy and imitation of our great program have been noted. Always nipping at our heels a day late and a dollar short in typical ksu fashion.

The Kevin Schroeder thing was very nice of you to do. Too bad it was already done better with an ESPY in tow as well. Still looking up to big brother just a short 100 mile drive to Lincoln. Maybe someday the kitties will attain the lofty gains that NU has already acquired. But alas I fear it will not be in any of your lifetimes or Bill Snyders.

But keep fighting the good fight, maybe, maybe someday ksu will truly be relevant.

P.S.After your little stadium expansion it will be good to know that KSU has the finest high school facilities in the state of Kansas.  :buh-bye:

Somebody should have told Nebraska that the Big 10 was a basketball conference before they joined. I'm not sure they have the internet in Nebraska, so they probably didn't even know.

Clearly beams posing as a husker.  Real husker fans don't act like this.

Times change. The Huskers were college football kings in the mid 90s, no one will deny that. But they are just another program now. Heck, the team from that "short 100 mile drive south" has won 2 conference titles since your Huskers can last lay claim to one.

Regardless the Kaiden Schroeder comment was uncalled for.  It's not about whether K-State copied Nebraska with a similar feel good story, it's about that little kid and his family and how K-State student athletes stepped in to help them.  Who the eff cares who did it first?  I'm pretty sure Wisconsin football players were doing something similar during the 2010 and 2011 seasons so I guess that makes Nebraska guilty too.  What a lousy excuse to start a meaningless thread.  I seriously hope this cfbdouche gets violated with something hard and sand-papery!

If thats the case, I thought he should put a year that Nebraska was relevant. Dig into the archives for that one
